NYC Day 2

okay so obviously we didnt post anything for day one, but we mainly walked arround and shopped and got aquainted with Manhattan . Getting used to the metro transit was actually easier than it sounds. We take the shuttle from out hotel to the airport and from the airport we take the airtrain to Jamaica Station where we catch the LIRR (long island railroad) to Penn Station (which is in downtown Manhattan). Like I said it's way easier than it sounds.

Food we ate on day 1:

Deep Fried Mac and Cheese

Cheddar and Broccoli Soup

Prime Rib Dip (p.s. TGI FRIDAYS SUCKS)

2 Slices of NY style pizza

and a Tuna Melt

Okay so on to today...today we woke up and had breakfast here at the hotel. We then made our usual route Manhattan arround 2pm. We walked arround a bit bought a memory card for the camera. Then we ate at this place called Zen Pallatte

It was this little amazing vegatarian/vegan friendly restaurant we had 2 drinks, an appatiezer, 2 meals, and shared dessert for like $32 dollars and our waiter Yariha was this really nice guy. Side note I've always heard that New Yorkers were rude...apparently whoever said that has never been to the NorthWest. Compared to Yakima New Yorkers are rad! Everyone is polite, says excuse me, calls us "hon" They're really nice.

So here's some Pics of us eating....and goofing off ...

Broadway was amazing , as was our show it really was rad New York during the day is amazing there's just people everywhere. but after dark It's kinda magical we rode through Time square in a petty-cab (after the show) which was an experience of its own. but aside from the hundreds of thousands of people it's like a fireworks display that never ends. Anywhere else it'd be pitch black but in Manhattan it's still bright enough to be daytime, it's like nothing I've ever seen before.

Tomorrow ... Central Park (we'll have more pictures then)

Food we ate on day 2:

All you can eat breakfast buffet

Huge Bowl of Curry

Tofu Peking Duck Wrap

Spring Rolls

Soy Bananna Cheese Cake (best cheese cake I've ever had)

1 slice of pizza pt. 2

Cheese Ravioli

also I had "green apple iced tea" which is essentially part apple juice and part green tea. one word "AMAZING"
